How to use it: restoring heavily weathered plastic

The Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer takes a bit more care than a normal dressing — but you get results that last a lot longer for it.

Prep: clean the plastic thoroughly and let it dry fully. On heavily weathered surfaces we'd prep mechanically first: lift the top oxidation layer with a fine, dry microfibre cloth or a very fine abrasive pad. That opens up the pores and drastically improves how well the restorer takes.

Application: use a small applicator or foam pad. Lay down a thin, even coat — not too heavy, or you'll get patchy gloss. Work in two overlapping passes for full coverage.

Drying: 15–20 minutes of dry time before the next coat. For the best result: 2–3 coats with full drying in between. The product sinks into the pores and builds up.

Finish: once the last coat has fully dried, buff off any excess with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. That leaves an even, matte to lightly satin finish — a pro look without any greasy shine.
