What is GYEON Q² QuickView? GYEON Q² QuickView is a quick-to-apply SiO₂ glass sealant for all car windows. It creates a strong hydrophobic effect, helps rainwater run off faster and makes cleaning your glass far easier.

How the glass sealant works: changing the surface tension

Glass naturally has a high surface tension, which makes water spread across the pane in flat, uneven puddles instead of beading off. GYEON Q² QuickView changes that with an SiO₂-based coating: the silicon dioxide compounds bond to the glass surface and fundamentally change how it wets. The result is a hydrophobic (water-repellent) surface where water beads off in round droplets – the lotus effect on glass. This effect not only improves vision in the rain, it also protects the surface from limescale and dirt drying onto it.

Application: seal every window quickly and easily

Applying GYEON Q² QuickView is easy and works on every window. First, clean and degrease all the glass thoroughly – oily films from cockpit spray or silicone have to be gone completely. Then lay Q² QuickView on thin and even, let it dwell for a minute or two, and buff it off with a clean microfibre. Finish with a second, dry cloth to bring it to a high shine. On the windscreen, work panel by panel. After you're done, don't use the wiper right away – the wiper rubber would just smear the fresh coating around. Wait 30 minutes, or wet the glass with a little water before you run the wiper.
