Effective cleaning for marine surfaces

The Koch-Chemie Hull Precleaner alkaline „Hal“ is the go-to choice for a thorough pre-clean of boat hulls and decks. Its highly concentrated, phosphate-free formula combines high-grade chelating agents and special surfactants that lift even stubborn deposits like bird and duck droppings as well as grime from weather and the environment in no time. That makes it especially good at cleaning gelcoat and boat-paint surfaces as well as teak-replacement decking and PVC.

How to use it for the best results

For use, dilute the pre-cleaner with water at 1:20 to 1:60 depending on how dirty the surface is. Then lay the solution down on the surface with a Pressure Sprayer alkaline or a wash sponge and let it dwell for no more than 5 minutes. If needed, you can go back over it with an Interior Scrubber. After the dwell time, rinse the treated area thoroughly with water and a sponge. Keep it off sensitive surfaces like galvanised steel, aluminium or solid wood. Once it's properly clean, it's worth protecting the surface with polish and a sealant to keep dirt from settling back in quickly.
