The prerequisite remains the correct washing technique: two buckets, plenty of foam, and regular rinsing. A wash mitt is no substitute for a clean method.

Pro tip from Detailing1: A wool mitt is only as good as the method behind it — we always work with the two-bucket technique: one bucket with shampoo, one with clear rinse water, both with a grit guard at the bottom. After each panel, rinse the mitt in the clear water before putting it back into the soapy water. This way, the sand stays in the grit guard and not in the pile. And wash from top to bottom: the side skirts last, as they are the dirtiest.

Application: Two-bucket technique, plenty of foam

Work with plenty of foam from the wash bucket and rinse the mitt regularly. Ideal with "S1" Wash&Coat or as a pre-wash with "SP1" Prewash.

Limitations: Not a drying towel, no substitute for pre-wash

The mitt is for washing — drying is done with a "Micron XXL". And heavy dirt must be removed via pre-wash before hand washing, otherwise you will drag it across the paint despite the wool.

Rinse thoroughly after use and wash with "SM" Micron Shampoo, without fabric softener.
