"A1" All in One by Innovacar is a silicone-free one-step polish that combines cutting and finishing: its self-refining abrasive grain removes scratches and oxidation while polishing the same area to a high-gloss, hologram-free finish. Ideal for light to medium defects in a single pass — not the first choice for deep scratches that require a heavy-duty cutting compound first.

Innovacar "A1" All in One is an intermediate one-step polish that combines two tasks in a single product: it grinds away paint defects and finishes the same area to a deep shine in the same pass. This is made possible by a graded grain structure — the initially coarse, sharp abrasive grain continuously breaks down into smaller, yet still active particles under friction and heat. For you, this means: at the beginning, "A1" works like a medium cutting compound, removing swirls, wash scratches, and oxidation; towards the end, it functions like a finishing polish that clears away holograms and haze. Because the formula contains no silicones, it does not mask the intermediate result — what you see after wiping off the residue is the true level of correction, not a surface covered by oils.

• One-step saves an entire polishing cycle. Instead of two passes — first a cutting compound, then a finishing polish — you can cover light to medium defects in one go. Practical: an everyday vehicle with wash swirls can be detailed in half the time.
• Hologram-free thanks to self-refining grain. Because the grain becomes finer as you work, "A1" leaves no cloud of sanding marks, even on dark, sensitive paint. This means: no separate anti-hologram step required on black paint.
• Silicone-free and coating-ready. Without silicone oils, the surface remains clean for sealing — ceramic or spray sealants will adhere without the stress of degreasing. In everyday use: you can build up protection immediately.

Pro-tip from Detailing1: At our shop in Nordhorn, "A1" is the standard choice when a customer's vehicle "just needs some shine back" without a full multi-stage polish. The professional rule: start with a medium-firm (orange) pad and 800–1,200 rpm, and check the level of correction on a test area — if the finish isn't sufficient, use a softer pad rather than applying more pressure. Anyone who runs "A1" dry at too high an rpm will lose the grain's finishing phase and polish in holograms instead of removing them. It is better to perform two steady passes than one "hot" one.

Application: Pad, rpm, cross-hatch passes

Wash and decontaminate the paint thoroughly before polishing — any residual dirt will otherwise become an abrasive particle. Apply two to three pea-sized dots of "A1" to a medium-firm polishing pad, distribute the paste at a low speed, and then work it in using overlapping cross-hatch passes at 800–2,000 rpm until it becomes clear and transparent. Remove any residue with a clean, short-pile microfiber cloth like the "Micron Up".

For more cutting power, choose a firmer pad; for a finer finish, use a softer one — the choice of pad affects the result more than the amount of pressure. Check your results using "D2" Check: it removes oil films and polish residue, making the true level of correction visible.

Limitations: Where "A1" is not the right tool

"A1" is an intermediate one-step polish, not a heavy-cut compound. You will not remove deep scratches that can be felt with a fingernail or heavy weathering in a single pass — for that, "F1" Force One with a hard pad is the correct choice, followed by "A1" or the finishing polish "P1" Polish Up. For pure high-gloss refinement on sensitive black paint, "P1" provides a cleaner final touch.

Seal afterwards — otherwise the work was in vain

Freshly polished paint is unprotected. To ensure the shine and correction last, seal the surface afterwards — with the spray sealant "SC1" Sealant, the wet sealant "H2O" Coat, or the long-lasting ceramic coating "SINH" Top Coat. For quick refreshing in between, "W1" Quick Detailer is sufficient.
