"P1" Polish Up by Innovacar is a particularly fine, silicone-free finishing polish for the final touch. It removes micro-scratches, swirls, and holograms, bringing out full gloss and color depth. It is too fine for deep scratches — those require a cutting compound first; "P1" then provides the finish.

Innovacar "P1" Polish Up is the finishing polish of the series — extremely finely tuned for the final steps of paint correction. It eliminates micro-scratches, swirls, and holograms, which are the exact fine defects that refract light unevenly and make the paint look dull. After a sanding or one-step process, "P1" brings back full depth and mirror-like gloss without creating new sanding marks. It is silicone-free, ensuring the shine is genuine and not based on oils that wash away with the first rain. For you, this means: "P1" is the step that turns "clean" into "mirror-like."

Practical tip from Detailing1: "P1" shows its true strength with a soft finishing pad and moderate speed — in the shop, we work at around 1,000–1,500 rpm and let the polish work through until it is almost transparent. The most common mistake: not enough time. If you remove "P1" too early, you leave behind holograms that only become visible in the sunlight later. And always double-check with "D2" Check — on polished paint, your eyes can be deceived; a degreased inspection reveals the truth.

Application: Soft pad, work through thoroughly

Apply "P1" to a soft finishing pad and work it in overlapping passes at 1,000–1,800 rpm until the polish becomes clear. Remove residue with a fresh, soft microfiber cloth like the "Micron Buffing" and verify the result with "D2" Check.

Limitations: No replacement for sanding

"P1" is intentionally fine — it will not remove deep scratches or heavy oxidation. For that, you should first pre-treat with "F1" Force One or the all-in-one polish "A1" All in One, then finish with "P1".

Protect and refresh afterwards

Seal the mirror-like surface with "SC1" Sealant or "H2O" Coat; in between washes, the "W1" Quick Detailer keeps the shine looking fresh.
