One cloth for application and removal — thanks to two pile lengths

The "Micron 2Face" by Innovacar is a double-sided 500 GSM microfiber cloth with a short pile on one side and a long pile on the other. The short-pile side applies and removes products, while the long-pile side provides a gentle finish. An all-rounder for polish and wax residue — not a drying towel for large surface areas, as it is too small for that.

Innovacar "Micron 2Face" is the double-sided microfiber cloth that combines two tools in one: short pile on one side, long pile on the other. The short pile is grippy enough to apply products and cleanly remove residue; the long pile glides softly for the final polish. With 500 GSM, the cloth is dense and absorbent, as well as edgeless and laser-cut — meaning no surrounding seam or sewn-in label that could scratch sensitive paintwork. What this means for you: one cloth for the entire wipe cycle instead of two, and no hard edges against the paint.

• Short pile for application and removal. The grippy side distributes sealants, waxes, and sprays and removes residue with minimal streaks. Practical: one cloth for two work steps.
• Long pile for a gentle finish. The soft side polishes streak-free without stressing the freshly treated paint. What this means for you: clean shine without wipe marks.
• 500 GSM, edgeless, laser-cut. Dense fabric without scratching edges or labels. In everyday use: paint-friendly even on black paint.

Practical tip from Detailing1: Here in our shop, every microfiber cloth has its fixed job — the "2Face" is the universal cloth for spray sealants and waxes because you don't have to switch cloths for application and removal. The most important rule: separate cloths by color according to their purpose and never use the polish removal cloth for sealant. A cloth that has seen compound once should never touch a freshly polished finish again. And always work folded: four folds provide eight clean surfaces per cloth.

Application: Two sides, one wipe cycle

Apply products with the short-pile side and remove them with the same. Flip to the long-pile side for the final polish. Especially practical when removing "G1" Glossy or spray sealants.

Limitations: Not an XXL drying towel

At 40 × 40 cm, the "2Face" is a work and finishing cloth, not a drying towel for the entire bodywork. For drying, grab the large-format "Micron XXL". For pure coating application, the low-absorbency "Micron Suede" is the better choice.

Care: How to keep it soft

Wash before first use. Machine wash at max. 30 °C with "SM" Micron Shampoo, no fabric softener, do not tumble dry — this keeps the pile absorbent and scratch-free.
