INNOVACAR "White Sponge" gomme magique en mélamine (lot de 10) 10 pièces

Erase stubborn dirt using only water

The "White Sponge" by Innovacar is a 10-pack of melamine dirt erasers that removes stubborn dirt with just water — especially on synthetic leather and robust plastic surfaces. Its fine abrasive effect makes it powerful, but that is exactly why it should not be used on piano lacquer, displays, or delicate genuine leather without prior testing.

Innovacar "White Sponge" is the melamine dirt eraser — the melamine foam known as a "magic sponge," which works with fine mechanical abrasion instead of aggressive chemicals. When dampened, it cleans stubborn dirt using only clear water or a mild cleaner. In detailing, it is primarily used for heavily soiled synthetic leather upholstery, worn-out steering wheels, and robust plastics where a cloth alone is no longer enough. The 10-pack suits its nature as a consumable: melamine foam wears away during use and gets smaller. This means for you: a mechanical reserve for cases where chemicals reach their limits.

• Often cleans with water only. Removes stubborn dirt without aggressive chemicals. Practical: fewer cleaners, fewer residues.
• Strong on synthetic leather & robust plastics. For worn, heavily soiled surfaces. This means for you: visible results where a cloth gives up.
• 10-pack, 11 × 6 × 4 cm. Consumables in a sensible quantity. For everyday use: always have a fresh sponge ready.

Practical tip from Detailing1: The melamine sponge is an eraser, not a miracle cure — it acts as a mechanical abrasive. We always test it first on an inconspicuous area and work with light pressure and plenty of water; never use it dry and never use force. It has no place on piano lacquer, glossy high-gloss plastics, displays, or delicate genuine leather — it will cause matting or scratches there. However, it is unbeatable on grained synthetic leather and robust surfaces.

Application: Dampen, squeeze, work gently

Dampen the sponge with water (or a mild cleaner), squeeze out excess water, and work on the soiled area with light pressure. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

Limits: Not for paint or high-gloss

The melamine foam is mechanically abrasive — it is off-limits for vehicle paint, piano lacquer elements, displays, and delicate leather. For gentle leather and textile cleaning, use "X2" Fabrics&Leather.
