Gently clean microfiber towels without losing absorbency

Innovacar's "SM" Micron Shampoo is a specialized detergent for microfiber towels, polishing pads, and wash mitts. It dissolves polish, wax, and sealant residues without bleach or fabric softener, preserving the absorbency and softness of the fibers. Not intended for car paint — it is a textile detergent, not a shampoo for the vehicle body.

Innovacar "SM" Micron Shampoo is the specialized detergent for microfiber towels, polishing pads, covers, and wash mitts — suitable for hand and machine washing. High-quality microfiber is a tool, and like any tool, it degrades through improper care: household detergents with fabric softeners clog the fiber loops, bleach attacks them, and hard water makes them stiff. "SM" is precisely formulated to clean fibers gently, prevent matting and hardening, and dissolve trapped product residues. This means: your towels retain their absorbency and softness over many washes — and a soft towel won't scratch.

• Fiber-friendly instead of fiber-destroying. Without bleach or fabric softeners, the fibers remain soft and absorbent. Practical: a towel that doesn't harden won't leave scratches on freshly polished paint.
• Dissolves polish, wax, and coating residues. Exactly the residues that household detergents fail to remove are washed out here. This means: the towel is truly clean, not just on the surface.
• Efficient and easy to dose. Suitable for hand and machine washing, economical in use. In everyday life: one bottle lasts a long time, and the towels last even longer.

Practical tip from Detailing1: We immediately put every used coating or polishing towel into the washing solution — the most expensive mistake is letting a product-soaked towel dry, because polymer and wax residues cross-link with the fibers as they dry, permanently hardening the towel. The rule: wash at a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F), use "SM" instead of household products, never use fabric softener, and do not tumble dry. That is how a good towel remains a good towel for years.

Application: Machine and hand washing

For machine washing, dose 15–40 ml per kilogram of laundry depending on the level of soiling and water hardness, wash at a low temperature, and do not use fabric softener. For heavily soiled towels, dilute "SM" 1:4 (200 ml product to 800 ml water), let it soak, and rinse out.

Limitations: A textile detergent, not a car shampoo

"SM" cleans microfiber — not your paint. For vehicle washing, use a car shampoo like "S1" Wash&Coat. And even the best detergent cannot save a fiber that has already been ruined in the tumble dryer or by fabric softener — care must be correct from the start.
