The formula comes from COLOURLOCK leather technology, paired with Koch-Chemie's system chemistry — perfect for new cars, lease returns and detailed interior work. Leather Shield heads off the early ageing you typically see on high-wear areas and leaves a pleasant, matte surface with a natural feel.
The heart of Leather Shield is a finely cross-linked polymer that bonds specifically to pigmented smooth-leather surfaces without hurting their breathability or feel. Day-to-day that means your leather still behaves naturally, stays soft, but shows far less friction-shine and micro-wear. On modern automotive leathers with a PU top coat especially, daily getting in and out, clothing edges, rivets or belt ends act like sandpaper — and the polymer film works here as a sacrificial protective layer.
